Rindge Memorial School Reviews

Fantastic Principal, personal approach, dedicated volunteers and a gorgeous interior courtyard. The building itself has some parking and space issues, but the people make up for it. Currently re-working the Gifted and Talented programs, the District recently hired a G & T Coordinator. Art Program is fantastic, and afterschool activities and clubs provide something for everyone. Area dedicated to Destination Imagination programs, wish they would consider it an In - School Activity as well!

My child attended and enjoyed Kindergarten at RMS when it was still half-day. This year (03-04) they did not offer the half-day option, and I don't believe that is right - they should have put that to a vote by the townspeople; I have met plenty of parents who would have preferred it. Also, my family has never been as sick as that year, with completely weird viruses - since then, we have decided to homeschool and are having a much better school year. Pros of RMS: the teachers we met were kind and caring, the principal is a nice guy who cares about kids. Cons: School fundraisers (even for K'garten), trying to get parents involved, school not the cleanest.
