Quabbin Regional High School Reviews

I went to Quabbin and now I am in college. I am more prepared than some of the other students in my college classes. Quabbin has great dedicated staff, great art, music, and academic programs. People I met in college were shocked at the amount of elective classes I had, especially the amount of music and art classes offered. Many were also impressed with the extensive academic offerings and requirements, such as Global Perspectives. The student to faculty ratio is great compared to other public schools, and even in the bigger classes the teachers make sure they connect to the students as much as possible, and there is always extra help offered to those who aren't grasping the material from class alone. Quabbin is great, better than any other public school I have seen, and in fact my friends from other high schools say they wish they had what Quabbin had.

We have one child graduated from this school and another halfway through her time there. We've had very good experiences overall with very few exceptions, and those exceptions were handled well when brought to the attention of the administration. There is always something going on at this school as far as extracurricular activities, from long before the school day begins until well into the evening. QRHS even offers Chinese and Latin in addition to the standard Spanish and French languages, advanced math classes, physics, everything you could want.

As a student that went through my entire school carear in the Quabbin district, I have to say it was an amazing experiance. I have seen many other schools and not one has come close to the education and friendly atmosphere that Quabbin provides. The staff are some of the most talented teachers out there, with manyof them going the extra mile it takes to change a student's life. Is it over crowded? No more then any other public school. Is the school facing finaicial difficulty? Not as much as other schools in the state. Despite this, Quabbin has managed to offer a huge array of different classes (such as Chinese) and extracurricular activities (the music and art programs) that set Quabbin above other schools. The teachers are truley an amazing bunch who deserve so much more respect then they get. Bravo to Quabbin!

With 2 students in Quabbin: 1 in high and 1 in middle, I'm thrilled. Remodeled building, huge extracurr. activities program, caring faculty. Always kids at the school from predawn 'til way after dusk. Supportive learning environment, exceptional opportunity for our kids!

Horrendous, the things students, teachers, and athletic coaches are allowed to get away with are unbelievable. I would definitely spare my child the pain of coming here, I'm glad this high school experience is over.

This school is extremely overcrowded and way too many kids per teacher ratio. Not pleased with it at all.
